I have been at the bar since May 2014.
From 2008 to 2014, I was at Allens (appointed Senior Associate in 2011). I had the carriage of a number of complex pieces of commercial litigation that ran to final hearings and appeals – which was valuable experience in understanding the end client’s aims and commercial imperatives, managing teams of lawyers, and working with counsel to prepare cases for hearings.
In 2007, I worked as a graduate at Sparke Helmore, spending half the year doing migration litigation, and half the year doing commercial litigation.
In 2006, after finishing by BA/LLB at UNSW in 2005, I worked as the Tipstaff to the Hon. Justice P.A. Bergin, then the Commercial List Judge in the Equity Division.
